Finely carved walnut canterano. Tuscany, first half of the 17th century.

Splendid walnut canterano with five drawers, finely carved with guilloché on ebonized wood. Very interesting are the pilasters that frame an elegant conical spiral that falls to a point. Moldings in various orders of carving follow the pyramidal base and on the sides, three frames show the same guilloché carvings present on all the large drawers. The piece of furniture is in a good state of preservation and original in every part. Interesting and original bronze locks. Cleaning and waxing services are included in the sale.
