Elegant solid silver coffee pot, hand-chased and decorated with shells and foliate and floral elements

Description: Solid and interesting Italian coffee pot (cm. Ø18; h.34) made by embossing and casting (lost wax) with decorations of shells, flowers and leaves. Hinged lid, spout with front mask (photo n°6), it is supported by a circular base (cm. Ø10) adorned with vertical embossed scalloped decorations. In the cast silver structure, which holds the wooden handle in a curved shape, there are decorations of roses, buds and curls. In the bottom and inside the lid there is the 800 hallmark inside the oval and a polygon with a star inside and the silversmith's number (167) followed by the initials of the province, in this case Palermo (Pa). It is in perfect condition. Weight: kg.1,000.
