It is currently located in our warehouses in Roncadelle (Brescia). It depicts a country path that leads into the woods dotted with oak and birch trees, where three docile sheep graze and a small shrine in the foreground marks the way. The author immerses the viewer in the country road, giving a feeling of peace and serenity that only nature can give. The decidedly saturated colors and the strong contrast between light and shadow contribute to recreating a magnificent sunny day which is enclosed in a wooden frame shaped in floral lines, making this painting a splendid element of furniture.
