Description
Pair of George III sterling silver sugar bowls with lids, Thomas Chawner, London, 1783. Elongated oval shape with raised circular foot and removable lid. Two curved side handles with beaded details. Beaded border along the upper edge, at the base and on the lid. Lid with central knob. Engravings with heraldic coat of arms on both sides. Matching pair of finely crafted silver spoons.

Conditions
Slight signs of wear and tear and superficial scratches. The four hallmarks are present at the base of the sugar bowl. On the lid we find the manufacturer's logo and the lion passant.

Restauri: Lievi segni di usura del tempo e graffi superficiali. I quattro punzoni sono presenti alla base della zuccheriera. Sul coperchio troviamo il logo produttore ed i leone passante.
