Description Pair of George III sterling silver sugar bowls with lids, Thomas Chawner, London, 1783. Elongated oval shape with raised circular foot and removable lid. Two curved side handles with beaded details. Beaded border along the upper edge, at the base and on the lid. Lid with central knob. Engravings with heraldic coat of arms on both sides. Matching pair of finely crafted silver spoons. Sterling silver marked with 4 hallmarks: Manufacturer's logo: Thomas Chawner Lion passant: alloy mark.
