Oil on canvas. Venetian school of the 18th century. The landscape, rather barren with snowy mountain peaks in the background, frames a family of shepherds in the foreground, sitting and resting on the roadside outside the village, while their herd drinks from the stream not far away; meanwhile they converse and ask for directions from the commoner who passes on the path with a basket under her arm. Restored and relined, the painting is presented in a period-style frame. Product Condition: Product in good condition, shows minor signs of wear.
