The two works depict pastoral scenes of biblical inspiration, with figures in classical clothes and settings immersed in greenery. In the first painting, a young woman at the well converses with an elderly traveler, surrounded by amphorae and sheep: a composition that recalls the episode of Rebecca and Abraham's servant.
