🥇Large, Extremely Rare Vase Column with Secret, Genoa Empire, Early 1800s, Height 88 cm 🥇

Large, stunning vase column in dark lacquered wood (red effect with purple reflections) and finely chiseled and gilded bronze parts of the highest level. The lid is a white Carrara marble top with a lacquered wooden frame that conceals the secret compartment. The upper trumpet can be removed by unscrewing it to allow easier access to the base of the secret internal compartment, and it is mounted on two threaded bronze parts. Truly rare and unique. It is the first completely original object I have found like this. In perfect condition. Provenance: Liguria, Italy (Villa in Santa Margherita Ligure). Empire period, early 1800/10.
