It is a composition with a beautiful bouquet of white rose flowers and Papa Medallions.

Maurice Alfred Decamps (1892-1953) was born in Paris and painted landscapes, but especially flowers.
His teacher was Pierre Montézin, and from 1913 he began exhibiting his works at the "Salon des artistes Français" in Paris.
He received many awards and mentions in his life. In 1926 he received the "Prix de la Savoie", then in 1927 the award
"Société des Paysagistes", in 1929 the "Raigecourt-Goyon" award, and finally in 1938 the "Justin Claverie" award.
The antique frame and the oil painting have been carefully and professionally restored. Thirties of the twentieth century.
