Description:
Antique and interesting tempera painting on cardboard made in 1934 by Melkiorre Melis (Bosa 1889/Rome 1982) and dedicated by him to a dear friend: it represents a figure of a Sardinian woman in traditional costume with a village in the background (on the left). The contemporary and ebonized frame measures cm.32; h. cm.35, the painting alone cm.22; h. cm.25. In the back (photo n° 5 and 6), the aforementioned dedication with the date and signature of the artist: it is in excellent condition.
