Description: Antique white statuary marble sculpture depicting Marie Antoinette (1755-1793), the Austrian archduchess who would become the wife of King Louis XVI and the last Queen of France.
Her face is slightly turned to the right. Her headdress, made of curls and ringlets, is embellished with a rose.
Her shoulders are covered by a fabric, naturally tied on the chest, slightly revealing a lace lower part.
On the right side of the dress, there is a beautiful hanging tassel. The care and precision of the details, the fineness of the face and garments are of the highest quality.
