Antique Late 19th Century Solid Walnut Serving Table with Double Service Top

Description: Unique English serving table (85x52 cm; height from 72 cm to 100 cm) made of solid walnut in the Victorian period. An elegant food carrier supported by two square pillars (photo n°3) from each of which branch out two moved and grooved feet with the riccol end, held together by a balustrade containing 5 turned elements. The top lifts and splits by pressing two wooden buttons (photo n°7) that activate a sliding mechanism: the height of the table top in the original position is 72 cm while the height of the second top, once raised, measures 100 cm. The elegant food carrier, having been recently restored, is in perfect condition.
