The protagonist, immersed in a moment of intimate contemplation, holds a bracelet in her hand while a magpie appears in the background, a recurring symbol in the allegorical painting of the time, associated with desire and vanity. The work is rich in finely executed details, with particular attention to the rendering of the fabrics and the complexion.
