White marble sculpture from the 17th century. Depicted as a beautiful young woman with long hair gathered at the nape of her neck and falling over her shoulder. The hairstyle is adorned with flowers and ears of wheat. 45 cm (height with base) x 25 x 12.5 (base diameter) Ceres, mother goddess of earth, fertility, and prosperity, as well as goddess of birth (since all flowers, fruits, and living beings were believed to be her gifts), is considered a symbol of summer, the quintessential season of harvests. The work, like all our other objects, will be sold accompanied by certificates of authenticity and legal provenance. We personally handle and organize the packing and shipping of the artworks with insurance worldwide. The object is provided with a certificate of free circulation, issued by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, which certifies its age and allows the object to be exported.
