Description:
Antique Tyrolean chest dated 1846. It features two panels with cups containing bunches of flowers on a blue background, framed by red moldings. Painted pilasters with plant motifs are located on the sides and in the center. The inscriptions on the panels bear the original names of the owners, typical of Tyrolean wedding chests. The shaped base, painted with ivory-colored floral motifs, adds elegance to the overall design. Beautiful original and functioning hardware, including key and lock.
