Description:
Delightful extendable draw-leaf table of French origin (Provencal style), made of solid oak in the 1930s: the lower part has curved (cabriole) and fluted legs with a carved leaf and a 9 cm high scalloped band (photo n°10) with a small central floral carving, while the name of the geometric decoration in various woods of the top with wavy edges is known as Marquetry Versailles because it was made on the model of a floor found in the Palace of Versailles. The table extends easily with the two extensions that slide out from under the top and fit perfectly with the top itself. The table measures cm.150x100 (h. 74) while with the extensions extended the worktop will measure cm.200x100. Since the extension boards are independent, it is possible to extend only one side if desired. It is in a good state of preservation: the cost includes conservative restoration. We also have a set of 6 chairs to match the table.
