Excellent condition
The painting depicts an elaborate still life of fruit and game, enlivened by the lively presence of two splendid roosters and a group of small birds.
It is one of the most typical pictorial compositions of the Milanese master Angelo Maria Crivelli, known as il Crivellone, excellent in the description of farm animals, birds and hunting prey among fruits and vegetables.
His skills as an "animalier" painter are clearly evident in this canvas, in particular in the rendering of the plumages and above all in the unsurpassable lively gazes of the two roosters, which characterize most of his works.
The work is in excellent condition, professionally relined and complete with an important antique gilded frame.
