Description
George II sterling silver lidded ewer, London, 1734. Flared body with a subtly molded stepped circular base. Finely chased floral and foliate engravings on the surface, heraldic crest engraved in the center of the body. Domed lid with chased floral decorations, hinged and surmounted by a shaped grip. Expanded spout with decorative perforations. Shaped and curved handle.

Slight signs of wear consistent with age and surface scratches. The four hallmarks are present on the side of the ewer.
