Persian Malayer Mishan carpet, 118x112.5 cm, early 20th century. Antique Persian carpet from the village of Mishan south of Malayer in Persia. Elegant square-shaped carpet distinguished by its beautiful central black medallion with geometric decorations, framed by three levels of colored borders and embellished with floral designs. The background of this carpet is beige, like many carpets of this type, but the intense black, the turquoise of the panel, and the red of the decorations stand out, making this carpet a very interesting specimen.
