Porcelain potiche painted in polychrome with shades of blue, coral red and gold; the rounded body is dominated by a lively decoration depicting a landscape enclosed in polylobed reserves with stylized houses, mountains and Taihu rocks, all surrounded by delightful floral wreaths; other polylobed reserves contain arabesque decorations in gold on a blue background, and other reserves with delightful peonies; the lid, with an oblique brim and rounded cap, terminates with a knob in the guise of a Foo dog.
