Refined Piedmontese mirror in finely carved and silvered limewood, made around 1780, in full Louis XVI style.
The frame, dynamic and airy, is characterized by a rich foliate motif that develops gracefully along the entire profile, culminating in a refined carved crest.
An element of great charm is the double row structure of mirrors, which frame the central mercury mirror, giving depth and preciousness to the whole.
It measures 164 x 84 cm.
It retains the original back, and has some small wooden restorations carried out with discretion and respect for the work. The silvering, worn by time, returns an authentic patina that enriches the object with an ancient and unique flavor.
