A set of two lovely Grand Tour painted terracotta pen-holders of Neapolitan origin, molded as a male and female foreign tourists caricatures, British characters.
Both polychrome painted earthenware figures are funny Italian desk accessories and show the pen-holder on the back.
Made for Grand Tour tourists in Neaples in the early 20th century, they are in good condition with wear consistent with age and use, with minor chips.
