This fine painting, created in the 18th century, stages a cheerful scene of cherubs playfully frolicking in a verdant landscape on the edge of a forest. The painting has been relined and re-stretched, enhanced by a recently made frame. It has undergone a few pictorial restorations (see detailed photos) and has been cleaned.
