Pair of Louis XV Italian Giltwood Friezes 1750s Scrolling Foliate Carving

Pair of Louis XV Friezes 1750 Scrolling Foliate Carving Ex Mirror copings in good age related condition,  with gilding defects and restorations,gilded in gold-leaf on a preparation of Armenian red bole. Most likely they were born as mirror copings, the feet were added and are later than mid-18th century. Despite the complexity of the Rococo taste decorative motif,it is a right and a left, i.e. the carvings are reflected. They can be used as over door decorations or as simple wall decorations. Of Italian origin, 1750s circa.
