Pair of Italian twisted columns in gilded wood leaf and carved with relief vegetal motifs, entirely gilded and sculpted in a spiral with grape vines. These are indoor columns. They rest on cubes with gilded moldings, ochre-colored lacquered wood pedestals that are non-coeval, made in the last quarter of the twentieth century. They date back to the end of the 17th century and are presented in good condition, they are of Italian origin and come from a private collection in Milan. The two bases measure 24 x 24 x 24 cm, while the circular base of the column measures 13 cm in diameter, has a central hole and is not gilded, see photographic details. Ideal as supports for sculptures or flower vases or as candle holders. One of the two columns is detached from the base, the other is fixed to the base.
