Walnut trumeau entirely veneered in bois de violette, with threading and phytomorphic interlace inlays in maple all over the surface. Base with three drawers on a shaped front, pierced and carved pilasters with a scrolling movement, two placed on the front uprights at 45 degrees and another four halfway along the sides where the cabinet widens through a constructive levitation. Drop-front flap, concealing a cabinet with a pair of side drawers surmounted by a central open compartment, secret in the sliding top. Upper section with a pair of mercury mirror doors and two drawers below for lamps, interior castle made up of three drawers and open compartments, cornice with carved volute molding. The carved parts of the cabinet, frames and curls are ebonized, the feet terminate in a shelf at the front. Poplar drawer interiors. Antique chiseled and gilded bronze escutcheons. Restorations.
