Elegant mahogany bookcase enriched by a linear inlay made with bois de rose thread that frames the doors, drop-leaf, and three drawers. The piece of furniture is composed of two parts: the base drop-leaf chest of drawers, supported by four spool legs, which, when open, creates a useful writing surface bordered by old green and gold-dyed leather; and gives access to a bureau composed of three drawers with light wood fronts, spaced and surmounted by compartments of different sizes suitable for containing documents and small objects. And the upper section, closed by two doors, contains the original glass, separated by wooden frames designed to create elegant geometric shapes.
