FRENCH INLAID AND VENEERED CHEST OF DRAWERS - 19TH CENTURY

French chest of drawers, veneered and richly inlaid with various woods, with a red marble top. The front features two large serpentine drawers with fine floral and foliate inlays. Each drawer is centered with a gilded bronze escutcheon and side handles with foliate scrolls. Gilded bronze applications are present on the shaped apron and corners. The four serpentine legs end in feet adorned with gilded bronze shoes, also featuring foliate scrolls. Napoleon III period, 19th century. CM.H 85X113X55 DEPTH.
