Substantial and unmissable
Luigi Filippo Cappuccino table, made of solid walnut and elm wood,
built in the Emilia region, in the first half of the 19th century
and restored with a patina. Versatile, substantial furniture,
(features a particular flared frame under the top)
stable and robust.
Note the undeniable effort of elegance in the turned leg,
which ends in support, on the classic elongated onion foot,
identifying style and origin.
Commendable is the system that secures the thick walnut top,
(more than 3 cm thick)
through wooden jacks inserted between the bands and the top,
allowing for natural movements of the wood over time,
avoiding cracks and fissures.
The vocation for an elegant dining table is obvious.
It has a drawer in the band. Original and functioning hardware present.
Interiors and linings in fir. No restoration recommended.
Viewing and possible collection on site is welcome.
Measurements: cm 141X99X80 height. 64 cm under the band.
