Lombard kneeling stool in untouched walnut wood

Splendid kneeling stool in solid walnut wood with a tilting top, a small central-reserve door adorned with a small star, all carved from solid wood, and an opening platform. Each compartment has a lock, each with a different key but all with the same beautiful bronze handle (see photos). Excellent overall condition, with restorations and additions in the feet. 17th century, Lombard-Piedmont area.
