These are two jewels executed in the 19th century by an artist belonging to the School of Posillipo. This current of talented painters established itself from the 1820s onwards to satisfy the great demand from wealthy English and American tourists who wanted to take home a souvenir of their trip. These precious works, which reproduced the panoramas of the magnificent city in an academic way, were made in small sizes to facilitate transport.
