Precious Louis XIV period walnut prie-dieu with maple fillets and ebonized profiles, drawer under the top and base with drop-leaf door.
This is a precious jewel by a cabinet maker active in Rome in the early eighteenth century.
The structure of the furniture sees it supported by six finely defined, faceted and recessed columns, with base and capital in the shape of a parallelepiped.
The particularly refined and graceful line refers it to a high-level commission.
The furniture is in excellent condition and has only been cleaned with restoration of the polishing.
