This beautiful Italian design coffee table "with spider legs" is the work of Carlo De Carli. Made in the 1950s, the table's structure resembles saddled legs, hence the name "Spider Table".
An extraordinary piece that gives originality and character to every modern interior.
Wooden structure and circular transparent glass top.
The "Spider" coffee table is one of the best-known designs by Italian architect and designer Carlo de Carli (1910 - 1999). In the early 1930s, De Carli studied architecture and design at the Polytechnic University of Milan and later worked closely with Giò Ponti. This collaboration shaped Carlo de Carli's viewpoint and approach, and he later founded his own studio in Milan. His keen sense of modern materials and his willingness to experiment made an important contribution to post-war architecture and design. His designs were produced by well-known manufacturers including Cassina.
