The painting is signed in the center with the monogram “V M” and was published for the first time by Anna Orlando and subsequently exhibited at the Genoa exhibition in the Baroque age of 1992. The canvas, which represents a lively adoration of the shepherds in a landscape with a still Flemish taste, is stylistically unusual compared to the works of the Genoese period of the artist, Malò being one of the great disseminators of the Rubensian language. In fact, unlike the other works, here the landscape is an integral part of the scene, together with all the context that surrounds the figures... from Anna Orlando, card in E. Gavazza and G.
