Gilbert Darpy, a French painter of still lifes, but especially of flowers. Lucien Gilbert Darpy (1875-1964) was a pupil of Géry- Bichard and Nel-Duchel. He exhibited regularly at the "Salon des Artistes Français" and became a member in 1897. The oil painting is presented with a lacquered wooden frame, called Montparnasse.
