Oil on canvas. Of large size and octagonal shape, the canvas features a landscape inscribed in a painted frame with friezes, falling into the category of eighteenth-century painting conceived for furnishing purposes. The landscape proposes a village near the coast, with fishing boats on the seashore; on the left, the ruin of a colonnade dominates in the foreground, under which two figures converse. The canvas, already restored and relined in the past, has widespread color losses, small holes, and stains.
