Porcelain potiche painted in polychrome with shades of blue, coral red, and gold; a lively decoration dominates the rounded body, depicting a landscape enclosed in poly-lobed reserves with stylized houses, mountains, and Taihu rocks, all surrounded by delightful floral wreaths; other poly-lobed reserves contain arabesque decorations in gold on a blue background, and other reserves with delightful peonies; the lid, with an oblique brim and rounded cap, ends with a pommel in the guise of a Foo Dog.
