Interesting 17th-century wooden bed, with the coat of arms of the Scorpioni family.

We offer this interesting antique solid wood bed from central Italy, entirely carved with bobbin patterns on the corner terminals and with patterns of plant elements and complex gadrooning both on the final balustrade and on the sides, while on the headboard there is a pattern of tritons and plant elements that delimit the noble coat of arms which incorporates small scorpions and which should refer to the Roman family of the "Scorpioni". The bed is in good condition both structurally and in terms of the patina and does not require restoration work.
