LUIGI FILIPPO WALNUT OVAL TABLE, FIRST HALF OF THE 19TH CENTURY

Elegant oval table in solid light walnut, characterized by a smooth top and band on the undertop. The central leg, expertly turned, branches out into four feet decorated with scrolls and feral terminations. Both the central leg and the four legs are equipped with castors for easy movement. This table is also extendable: the central leg opens, and the furniture includes two original extensions, allowing it to extend up to 280 cm. The top also closes securely thanks to brass snap hooks, which allow it to be fixed and made stable when closed. Of great elegance and taste, this table is able to furnish any environment with class and refinement. Livorno (Tuscan) manufacture from the Louis Philippe period, first half of the 19th century (circa 1820-1830). Measurements: H x W x D 77 x 140 x 151cm
