Beautiful and majestic drop-front desk from the Louis XVI period, 18th century, France. The threading features a ribbon motif on the drawers and the drop-front. The drop-front door conceals a writing compartment with seven drawers and five open letter compartments. Remarkable veneer work made with different and precious walnut and bois de rose wood species. Original piece of furniture in all its parts, locks, hinges and contemporary handles. All linings in oak.
