Ernesto Rayper

The composition stands out for the careful rendition of the light that filters through the trees and is reflected in the river's water, creating a suggestive contrast between the shadows and the delicate lights. Rayper, through his verist style, not only portrays the landscape, but makes it live, giving great importance of to natural textures, from rock to foliage.
