Wooden chest of drawers, made in Venice in 1700, with a design that simulates a stack of piled-up volumes. The object measures 55 cm in height, 48 cm in width and 35 cm in depth. The "books" are embossed on both sides, creating a very particular three-dimensional effect. Entirely made of wood, it is covered with a thin layer of plaster and then painted. The only modern intervention concerns the replacement of the legs and the lower part of the cornice.
