Four prints of biblical scenes by Volpato

Splendid series of four prints depicting biblical scenes, created in the mid-18th century. The engravings are taken from paintings by Jacopo Amigoni, engraved with extraordinary skill by Giovanni Volpato and printed by the renowned Bartolozzi printing house. The execution quality is exceptional, with a fine and detailed stroke that enhances the drama and elegance of the compositions. Two of the prints show a natural patina of time with a slight yellowing, while the other two are still clear and clean. Each work is framed in a new frame measuring 64x80 cm, while the prints measure 45x55 cm.
