Description:
Elegant and solid (Kg 1.350) champagne bucket (cm 22x18; h 22) made of solid 800 silver by the renowned Palermo silversmith Eugenio Stancampiano. The base measures cm 20x15: the champagne bucket is decorated on both fronts with a play of opposing ribs (photo n°1) while, on the linear sides, we find a band with two essential pierced handles (photo n°4). The upper edge is finished with alternating oval and round elements. On the bottom we find the following hallmarks: 800 inside the oval, a polygon with a small star inside, the number identifying the silversmith (39) followed by the initials of the province (Pa) Palermo and the initials of the company (St). The silversmith is Eugenio Stancampiano: the Palermo family started its activity in 1870 becoming an undisputed leader for the production of cutlery. The company can count on five generations of professionals. It is presented in perfect condition.
