18th Century Italian Baroque Drop-front Desk

Mid-18th century Baroque style drop-front desk from Veneto, Italy. The fir interiors are covered with walnut and walnut burl veneer in the reserves on the drawers, door, and top. Console-shaped feet support the chest of drawers with a serpentine front with three drawers, surmounted by a drop-front concealing a cabinet with four small drawers (two remade), a small door, and a secret compartment. Restoration on the door, replaced handles. Product condition: Due to its age and wear, the product may require restoration and polishing.
