Early 19th-century mahogany bookcase. The base features two doors and a pull-out writing surface covered in Moroccan leather. The upper section has two glass doors with a brass support dividing each door in half. The uprights are carved as half-columns and terminate with gilded bronze dripstones. The interior is made of larch and oak. The cutlery drawers in the base were added in the 20th century. The upper section has adjustable shelves. The feet are carved as truncated pyramids with collars and gilded bronze sabots.
