An Italian 19th Century Circular lidded wooden box realized as food container as per the Italian inscription FAVE GRECHE, meaning Greek Beans, a common food throughout the Mediterranean territories.
This Italian antique box is in good age related condition, wear consistent with use, but lovely original Siena yellow painting.
It comes from a private farm in Tuscany.
