Antique Spanish painting from the late 18th century. Oil on canvas artwork depicting the Nativity of the Virgin, an antique copy of the famous masterpiece by Bartolomé Esteban Murillo from 1661 now exhibited at the Louvre in Paris. Rectangular painting that develops horizontally, arwork that is rounded at the top (like the original). Painting that depicts the birth of Mary, deliberately placed in the center of the composition, surrounded by women. The little girl emanates a light that illuminates the entire scene, on the left instead, in the shadow, we find Saint Anne and Saint Joachim. At the top, in the center, little angels also illuminated. Painting of large size and pleasant decoration, in a beautiful patina. Painting that has undergone a light conservative restoration, relining and repainting of the color in some small points. Painting overall in good state of conservation.
