Oval polychrome majolica plaque with frame, Savona 18th century

Depicting a scene set in an area enclosed by architecture and centered by a tree with two seated men, probably beggars, and two standing figures who interact with them in a compassionate manner; frame decorated at the top with a floral motif centered by a seashell valve and entirely painted in cobalt blue. Due to some decorative and stylistic choices, the work is similar to the works of Savona workshops inspired by the polychrome production of the Guidobono family. Width cm 28 height cm.26
