Paul van de Venne (1882 - 1884) studied art at the Academies of Brussels from 1882 to 1884 and of
Saint-Josse-ten-Noode and was a pupil of Jozef Van Dijck. He loves to paint landscapes of the Ardennes, cityscapes of Bruges.
But above all he paints seascapes, marines, dune landscapes and fishermen. Impressionist painter.
From 1925 he worked in Blankenberge, where he exhibited regularly at the Casino Kursaal.
