T/3595 - Rug knotted in Lilian, a small satellite town of the much more famous Sarouk, around the end of the 19th century, with cotton warps and wefts and wool pile. As you can clearly see, in Lilian rugs you can find many of the characteristics that have made Sarouk rugs appreciated and famous, such as the use of dughi pink for the base color, and the scroll designs, which represent shoots and flowers. The rug is in perfect condition.
